Over the years, Mauritius has become the chosen destination for golf enthusiasts. The "greens" of the island are set amidst pleasant surroundings where the blue of the sky stands out against the green of the courses, usually located by the sea.

Nearly all of the golf courses (18 holes and 9 holes) are part of luxury hotel resorts. Pitch & Putt and the mini golf courses are proposed by other hotels and estates found on the island.

At Belle Ombre (North East)
Heritage Hotel or Telfair: 18-hole course, par 72 - the course consists of 2 loops of 9 holes (3190m and 3250m) on a surface area exceeding 100 ha.

At Belle Mare (Noth east)
Belle Mare Plage Resort and Prince Maurice: course par 73 out of 130 hectares.

The Links Course Par 71 - 5942m long.

At Tamarin (South west)
The Tamarina Golf: 18-hole course, par 72 - designed by the architect Rodney Wright on a surface area of 152 hectares.
The Gymkhana Club in Vacoas is the only private club having an 18-hole golf course.
