Maurice.runweb.com is a website created to bring you information about Mauritius Island, aimed at making you want to visit the island, or even settle here.

On 31st May 2007, there were almost 1200 pages and 2500 photos which showed different aspects of the island : the landscapes, mountain amphitheatres, its volcano and beaches, its remote villages, its former creole estates, botanical gardens, fishing ports, museums, luxury hotels and mountain shelters, its restaurants and bars where you can listen to music, the huge variety of sports activities proposed (hiking, mountain-bike, diving, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing etc). We offer a comprehensive presentation of Mauritius as well as a directory.

A diary brought up to date each day keeps you in touch all the events on the island as regards theatre, concerts, exhibitions and sports events.

But, in addition to this comprehensive presentation, we also focus on selected events and propose "brilliant ideas", discovered while reporting by the various members of our team.

Dozens of unique photos are included to illustrate these various articles.

Finally, Runweb also gives you a short daily press review so that you can keep in touch with what's happening here and in mainland France at the click of a mouse.

Today, runweb is a website published in French, but the main pages are also available in English too and soon in chinese. It is browsed by more than 50 000 net surfeurs monthly with a little more than 200 000 pages having been viewed

In its present format, maurice.runweb was designed by the NOVARHES COMMUNICATION LTD company in association with the AMIC company in Reunion island. The same team adds to it and brings it up to date every day.
