Concert
A concert of Sean Paul in Rose Hill

640 sean-paul1Son of a famous Jamaican painter, Sean Paul released his first single in 1996: "Baby Girl."   This led to further Jamaican hits, such as "Hot Gal Today," "Deport Them," "Infiltrate,"  "Excite me" and "Stage One," awarded the third reggae disc in year 2000 in the United States.  In June 2003, Dutty Rock was released in France and was soon a smash hit.  It's by the end of 2005 that Sean Paul released his third opus, The Trinity.  He worked in close collaboration with Nina Sky, Wayne Marshall, Looga Man and Kid Kurup for this album.  Commonly known as the rastaman, Sean Paul will give a unique concert on Saturday 29th March at the Rose Hill stadium at 07 30pm.

A dancing show
Jamilah and jalilah

The show of Jamilah and Jalilah will be held on the 29th and 30th March 640 JandJ
It's a play that will enchant all the lovers of Arabic dance. 
Maia, an Arab lady who lives near the desert in Egypt falls in love with a transient American and gets pregnant.  Expelled by her family, she secretly gave birth to twins: the eldest one is adopted by a very rich woman and the youngest one grew up by the side of her godmother and meets other gypsies in the village who teach her dancing. 
The story produced by Sonia Forget-Matthews is inspired by unknown traditions and origins of the belly dancing. 
Venue: Serge Constantin Theatre, Vacoas at 06 30pm on the 29th March and at 03 00pm on the 30th March. 
Ticket price:  stalls: Rs 400 - dress circle: Rs 300 - senior and kids: Rs 250
