Scooter and bike rental

One can also hire a scooter or a bicycle, particularly in the touristy areas on the island, such as Grand Bay, Trou aux Biches, Flic en Flac or Blue Bay.
A scooter costs between Rs 400 to Rs 500 per day.

Be careful !

Here, like everywhere else, riding a scooter or a bicycle is dangerous. Choose this mode of transport for short distances and be very careful (always wear a crash helmet!)
As far as possible avoid riding at night.
