The Indian Ocean kick boxing tournament
The Indian Ocean kick boxing tournament 2008 will be held on this Saturday 15th March at the judo gymnasium in Beau Bassin. The main objective of this event is to strengthen the relationship between the three islands and to give the youngsters the opportunity to show their abilities and to improve. The tournament will bring the Mauritian, Réunionese and inhabitants of the Seychelles' kickers together. Eight weight categories are featured on the programme.

The three-cornered Mauritian tournament
In close collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Mauritius Football Association is organizing a three-cornered football tournament from 9th to 15th March to celebrate the 40th Mauritian Independence Day.
The tournament challenges the Club M of Mauritius, Madagascar and the Indian team of Mohun Bagan throughout these three matches. The third and last match where the Club M of Mauritius opposes the Indian team will be held on this Friday at 06 00pm at the Anjalay Stadium in Belle Vue.
The Bolshoi Ballet
The Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre will host a prestigious show of the Bolshoi Ballet on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th March.
Founded in 1776 in Moscow and classified in the World Cultural Heritage Site of UNESCO, the Bolshoi theatre is one of the most renowned one in Moscow's stage along with its theatre halls, operas and ballets. Since its very beginnings, the Bolshoi is known as one of the greatest ballet schools in the world, training the greatest dancers of all the times.
During their visit to Mauritius, the troupe consisting of fifteen choreographers will give away two beautiful performances highlighting the talents of the star ballet dancer Alexander Volchkov and the ballerina Nelli Kobakhidze for our greatest pleasure.

"Stand up" with Tomer Sisley
It's at the auditorium Octave Wiehe that the comedian Tomer Sisley will appear on stage on Saturday 15th March at 08 00pm.
After starting up as an actor, it's in 2004 that he is brought under the limelight for the first time whilst performing the first part of Jamel Debbouze show at the Casino in Paris, in Bataclan and Olympia.
One thing is certain. This comedian, who has decided to continue his career as a solo artist, is adventurous and doesn't mince his words. Anything is featured: sport, sex, sitcoms, advertising and jail...All in a jesting tone.
