David Guetta
David Guetta is born on the November 7, 1967 in Paris. At the age of 13, David began mixing his first vinyls inspired by the dj’s that he heard on the first free radio stations, broadcasting dance music. At 17, he worked as a disc jockey in a nightclub and improved to what would become his style at the beginning of the 90s. He mixes house music on Radio Nova, one of the most famous French radios and plays at various clubs in Paris. He then, mixes at the former cabaret, Folies Pigalles and imposes the house music in nightclubs. When David Guetta released “Just a little more” in 2001, he could not imagine that his first album would soon be a hit and has never stopped being so. Few DJs in the history became pop stars, awarding one gold disc after the other and regularly appear in front of thousands of people every evening. Such is the case of David Guetta.

The peak of Peter Both
If you love big thrills, then this peak is ideal for you. Visible from everywhere across the northern part of the island, the Pieter Both is an unusual peak, with a ball of rock on the top of it. Being 823 meters high, it offers an exceptional view over a varying landscape. Several activities such as hiking, climbing and so on, are proposed. However, it is advisable to be accompanied by a professional. A quick lunch and a drink are not to be forgotten as the climb up takes a number of hours.

At the foot of Rochester Falls
This waterfall is popular during the school holidays and at weekends. The road that leads to the waterfall is slightly rough and lost in the middle of the sugar cane fields, but this marvelous site is worth the effort.
A powerful waterfall of ten metres high awaits you. At the bottom: a large lake for the delight of swimmers. The rock face is of particular interest, as it is cut in such a way that it looks like long rectangles. There are reckless divers who offer to do impressive dives for only a few rupees.
The Rochester Falls can be visited all year round, except during the season of the cutting of the sugar cane as the road is obstructed by the harvesting machines.
