-250 to 450g (1/2 to 1lb) beef -1 onion, chopped -Carrots -Broccolis -Celery -Asparagus -Mangetout peas -Green/red bell pepper -Other seasonal vegetables, sliced
Method :
Cut the meat into equal slices. Next, add 1 teaspoon of corn flour or manioc flour, 1 heaped teaspoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of soya sauce, 2 tablespoons of oil, 2 tablespoons of water and season with salt. Leave to marinate for one hour. To prepare the sauce (1): Stir 1/4 cup of water (65ml) together with 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon of corn flour or manioc flour in a bowl. Season with salt. Step 1: Fry the vegetables over a brisk heat. Add 1/4 cup of water (65ml). Cover with a lid and simmer for about three minutes. Put aside. Step2: Heat the wok over a high heat. Add the oil and the onion followed by the meat. Fry and turn the meat over (about 3 minutes on each side). Add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and the sauce (1). Allow to simmer for two minutes. Stir in the vegetables. Serve on a bed of white rice.
