Grand BassinNestled at the bottom of Bois Court, the « îlet » of Grand Bassin remains accessible by foot or helicopter only. An exotic place which is visited rarely. As you walk down to it, you will pass through a number of get many lovely viewpoints of the small caldera. In the valley, lies a small village of about fifteen “cases” with luxuriant gardens and lovely vine covered arbours. Mind out : the return journey is long and exhausting. It is advisable to spend the night in the valley.
